Characteristics: The Lincoln School beleives in the necessity of young children acquiring basic academic skills as essential tools for learning. It maintains that children at varying developmental levels can engage in a discovery process which will expand on those basic skills by clarifying thinking, increasing knowledge and deepening understanding of human issues, social values, and environmental awareness.

Our program of Discovery is designed to develop an awareness of self, the community and the world around us.
