Characteristics: The J.G. Pyne Arts Magnet is dedicated to giving every child the opportunity to achieve his/her individual academic apex in a climate that ensures safety, happiness and creativity. With a firm academic curriculum as a base, we have integrated both the performing and creative arts an environment, which promotes self-expression and expansion of intellectual skills. We at the Arts believe that every child has hidden talent buried within, some deeper than others. It is our job to bring that talent to the surface and use it as a tool to improve self-esteem and ensure academic success. We strive to make learning an "Art".
